Item: The Two Million Digits of Euler's Number Poster (Portrait Orientation). Actually the first 2,068,944 digits of Euler's Number, also well known as "e".
Pi isn't the only cool mathematical constant on the block. The e digits are crisply printed at just over 1 point in size. Super tiny. Super crisp. Super awesome. The microscopic digits even fill the e character image in the center of the poster. See the photos.
This new poster is 13 x 26 inches in size and is easy to frame. Do you have an awkward empty wall space, between between two doors for example? This poster may just fit perfectly.
Finally, fans of the amazing constant e can find posters with all the e digits they need. The One Million Digits of Euler's Number Poster offers the same fun, interactive and educational experience as do our Pi posters. Once you start exploring the content with a magnifier, it's hard to stop. What repeating patterns wait to be discovered within the sea of digits? Can you find your phone number or social security number among the e digits? Makes a perfect math gift for your favorite Euler Number enthusiast.
Magnifier / Loupe: Unless you have a strong magnifying glass or loupe with at least 15x power, we highly suggest you add one to your order. Depending on availability, we may provide a different magnifier than shown in the photos but it will have the same specs as what you've chosen, or better. The magnifiers we provide are a great combination of value and power. Click Here for magnifier guidelines.
Colors: Black print on white background. The digits form a gray halftone which can be seen in the photos. The e character image comes in a bunch of beautiful colors. Currently we offer Yellow, Magenta, Red, Green, or Blue.
Quality: This poster is professionally printed on the highest quality poster stock.
Size: 13 x 26 inches.
Framing: Top/Bottom margins are .5 inches. Left/Right margins are .4-.5 inches. Any photos of framed posters are just for illustration. We currently don't offer framing but frames for this poster are easy to find on Amazon.
The giant magnifier shown on top of the posters is just a visual aid to convey that the poster contains many digits.
Awesome Euler Number Facts:
- Euler’s Number is an irrational number, so it has an infinite number of decimal digits without a pattern or order.
- The actual naming of the constant e is attributed to Leonhard Euler, who first used the symbol e in 1727.
- A trick to remember the first few digits of Euler’s Number is that after 2.7, the numbers 1828 appear twice, followed by the angles of a right-angled isosceles triangle: 45, 90, 45.
- Euler’s Number is at work whenever systems grow or decay exponentially and continuously, such as with populations, radioactive decay and interest calculations.
